Science and Technology Studies

Science and Technology Studies is a joint program between Rice’s School of Humanities and School of Social Sciences that examines science and technology within their social, political, cultural and historical contexts. We use the interdisciplinary methodologies of the humanities and social sciences to study how science and technology come to be and impact the world around us.
